Winter
Running Program
NOTE: Cross Training consists of Swimming, Stationary Biking or
Stairmaster for Aerobic Work without impact. These workouts should be
20-35minutes long!
NOTE: On days when weather does not allow outside running use treadmill
if available or cross train. Do not use indoor track at the YMCA or The Club due
to size of track!
NOTE: All running on this schedule should be at a conversational pace!!!
Tempo runs, hills, and pick-ups will come later.
NOTE: Our goal is to maintain running fitness through the winter to
provide a base for upcoming track season.
