Cross Country Meet 8-21-07
Congrats
to our awesome athletes for the fantastic effort you all put forth at our first
cross country meet of the season.
Although there was not a high heat advisory today – it sure felt like there
should have been! Everyone ran so well
considering it was the first meet of the season – AND it was so HOT and
HUMID! It will get cooler and easier
to run.
So
now everyone knows what it feels like to run 2 miles. It’s not easy, not easy at all -
but you did it!!!! You should
all be proud of yourselves and of each other. Your parents are proud of you – we are so glad you ran – we couldn’t be prouder.
We
had many runners who bettered their time from last years meet in Mason City;
now everyone has a time to beat for the next meet.
