STUDENT GOVERNMENT (from the student handbook)

Blessed Sacrament School has a very active Student Council.  The purpose of the council is to provide first-hand experience for students in the methods and procedures of the democratic process.  In addition, the Student Council sponsors special activities in the areas of academics, sports, service and fundraising.  Each homeroom from grades 4 - 8 elects a representative to serve on the council.  A school-wide election is held to elect officers.  All members of the student council are expected to participate in the activities of the council and maintain a minimal grade level in each class (including conduct and effort) of "C" (satisfactory) or higher.
