Our garden has grown so much!

Thank you to our garden angels who have watered,
weeded, and tended, our garden all summer.  It's beautiful!

This is how our garden came to be -

Le Petite Giverny
Water Garden

A cross curriculum project between Art and Science began in the fall of 1999 with the 7th grade classes.

They were studying the works of Claude Monet and the Impressionist Art Movement. They went on field trip to sketch the pond at Washington Park, collecting water samples and looking for life forms in the water and algae growth. They also studied the light factors that keeps pond life and aquatic plants alive. They built a water garden in the innercourt of the school.
