Our Needs

Blessed Sacrament School Expansion/Renovation
(Estimated Cost $5.4 million)

Preschool Expansion – Our preschool program has experienced rapid growth since its inception in 2002, bringing even more children and families into our parish. This project will add a new preschool wing with two classrooms and attached play yard.

New Gymnasium - The modern athletic facility would house boys’ and girls’ team sports as well as physical education classes. From courts, to locker rooms, to bleachers, this facility will allow our children the opportunity to experience life-long learning skills associated with physical fitness.  For the first time, B.S.S. will be able to host athletic competitions.

Library/Media Center – An enhanced state-of-the-art library/media center for research, writing, study groups and extra -curricular meetings will greatly benefit the school and church. Volumes of research/reading material will be supplemented with access to computers, while a large accessible meeting space will serve the many ministries in our parish. This important educational center would anchor the west side (Glenwood Street) of the building.

Office Space/Facility Updates – A new office wing for the school would provide a welcoming atmosphere, a workroom for our administrative staff and support team, a conference area for meetings with parents and a nurses’ office for ill children, away from the general student body. Adding an elevator to the building will make our school more accessible to everyone.
