The boys became Regional Champs in a close game against Mt.
Pulaski on Wednesday, February 2nd.
They won the Sectional against Kincaid on Tuesday, February 8
with a score of 53-42.
The IESA State Tournament begins on Saturday, February
12. It will be held at Triopia Jr-Sr High School in Concord, IL. The
first game they play in is at 6:00 p.m. against Hume Shiloh.
WE WON 50-32!
We play in the quarterfinals at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, February 14.
We will play against Griggsville-Perry.
WE WON 50-38!
The
semi-finals will be held on Wednesday, February 16 at 7:15 p.m. This game
will tell if we are playing for 3rd or 4th place or if we willing be playing for
a 1st or 2nd.
WE WON 43-33!
WE WILL BE PLAYING FOR THE
CHAMPIONSHIP!

BLESSED SACRAMENT IN TITLE GAME
CONCORD-Blessed Sacrament, led by Lou Graham's 12 points, downed Brimfield
44-33 Wednesday night in the semifinals of the Illinois Elementary School
Association Class 8A Boys State Tournament.
The win puts Blessed Sacrament in tonight's title game
against Delavan at 7:30 p.m.
Blessed Sacrament's Andrew Frank hit double figures
with 11 points, while Eric Frank had 10.

STATE CHAMPIONS - Blessed Sacrament Bruins!!!!
The
State Journal-Register published the following in the paper on Friday, Feb. 18 -
BLESSED SACRAMENT CAPTURES 8A CROWN
CONCORD-Blessed Sacrament defeated Delavan 45-37 Thursday night to claim the
Illinois Elementary School Association Class 8A State Tournament at Concord
Tripoia High School.
Eric Frank of Blessed Sacrament led all scorers with 21
points and was nine of 10 from the free throw line, including seven of eight in
the final quarter. Lou Graham added 14 points for Blessed Sacrament.
"It was a tough game," said Blessed Sacrament
coach Jim Zeigler. "Delavan was an extremely talented team, and it
went down to the wire. That is what championship games are all
about."
Blessed Sacrament trailed 23-22 at halftime before
outscoring Delavan 23-14 in the second half.
