First Grade Visits Berry Patch |
On Friday, October 13, the first grade classes took a trip to the Berry Patch. The Berry Patch is a small, produce growing farm located in Buffalo, IL. The students took a wagon ride and saw fields of asparagus, strawberry, blackberry and raspberry patches and a pumpkin patch. Each student was given a pie pumpkin, Indian corn and a lucky buckeye to take home.

The students continued the unit by measuring and weighing pumpkins in the Science Lab on Wednesday.
