Ms. Healey showed us different types of grasses.

On break we all rolled down a hill.  Why?  Because it was there.

The biggest tree in Illinois.

Just returning from a hike.

We all had to make a raft out of things we found and we will test which one can hold the most weight.

My group's raft was made out of pinecones with a stick structure and pine needles for decoration.

On Friday, May 11, 2001, the seventh grade class went to Camp Cilca for outdoor learning.  We went hiking and learned how to work a compass.  We also did some crafts and played games to learn to work together as a team.  Thank you to Mrs. Harris, Ms. Healey, Mrs. Ficke, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Dhabalt for giving us such a fun day.
