EIGHTH GRADE FROG DISSECTION
The eighth graders dissected a frog. They viewed a filmstrip in
preparation and discussed the reasons for having dissection as part of the BSS
curriculum. After choosing a partner, they began with a drawing of the
external features of a frog. The internal dissection followed with
everyone joining in "awe" of the delicate internal organs. The
'miracle' and complexity of life was a major topic during these classes.
