Walk-a-Thon
President Bush has asked American school children to help children in Afghanistan by contributing to America’s Fund for Afghan Children.
On Thursday, November 15th Blessed Sacrament School students participated in a walkathon to raise money for that fund. Eleven laps around the parking lot were walked memory of those who died in the September 11 attacks. Students took pledges and the money raised will be sent to President Bush for the fund for children in Afghanistan.
Donations totaled $1003.80. Thanks to all for their participation and support.
