Fourth Grade

(May 6, 2003)  Mr. Becker from City, Water, Light and Power came to talk to us about where we get our energy from.  The main source we talked about was coal, since we have done a whole unit on it.  He went through all the steps, from when it is dug out of the mine, to when it is cleaned and burned.  This was a fun activity for all of us and we all learned a lot.  That's what school is for!
