This quarter the 6th grade students studied about Greece . They completed different stations about the Coliseum, Roman architecture and geography, Pompeii, and important people of Rome. The students also made laurel crowns (which were worn by emperors) and learned how to wear togas. Later, students shared information about important people like Nero, Mark Anthony, Constantine the Great, Spartacus, etc.

The seventh graders recently completed group projects about the American Revolution. They could design a game for other students to play that included events and/or people of the Revoluionary War. They could also make a map showing significant battles and who won them. Finally, they could dramatize one of the following events: The Boston Massacre, The Boston Tea Party, or Valley Forge.
