Students in grades six through eight were given
the opportunity to host a booth during this first Mardi Gras Carnival.

The Ring-A-Pop was very popular with these thirsty students!

The Color Game winners left with a Mardi Gras mask.


The Ducks were all decked out for Mardi Gras.

Face Painting was enjoyed by all.


What is Mardi Gras without a picture?

The Mardi Grasino gave winners the chance to spend "doubloons" on treats and
treasures.
The frisbee throw was much harder than it looked.

Build-A-Bead was a big hit!


Mardi Gras colors have certain historical and symbolic
significance.
Purple symbolizes JUSTICE
Green stands for FAITH
Gold for POWER

That's one way not to lose your beads.....

Our kings and queens are treated
like royalty at lunch.



The day ended with a procession to the gym and the playing of the final
Alleluia.


Last year's palms were burned in preparation for Ash Wednesday.
We had a lot of fun and raised $2343.50 for the missions!
