Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need.

Every day we hear on the news of more and more of our country's young men and women being deployed to some of the most danger-filled parts of our world to be ready to defend our freedoms with their lives.  For a lot of us, someone we love or know as already been sent or soon will be.

So that we as a school family can unite in prayer with them and for them, there will be a bulletin board on the first floor of our school where these people can be remembered and prayed for.  If you know someone you would like remembered in our daily prayer please send their names, and a small picture if you would like, to school.  Each name will be put on a yellow ribbon on that bulletin board.  Since we can't be there with them, the most powerful thing we can do is pray, pray, pray.
