The
Blessed Sacrament/Saint Agnes Co-op Track Team had their Sectional Meet this
past Saturday at Memorial Stadium. This is the fourth year for the program and
the fourth year we are taking kids to state. The following students qualified
for state this year: 4x200m relay team 7th grade girls (Shay Reid, Kaeley Luhr, Haley Evans, Danielle Ketchum) in a time of 1:58 Darian Dolenc 8th grade girls in the 800m run with a time of 2:37 Chris Frank 8th grade boys in the 800m run with a time of 2:23 and in the 1600m run with a time of 5:13 Erin Malone placed first in the high jump at 4'10" 4x200m relay team 8th grade girls (Erin Hanney, Erin Malone, Ashley Eck, Jessica Orlando) in a time of 1:54. This relay team has been together since they were in the 6th grade and have gone to state every single year! This will be their third appearance at Eastside Center where the state meet will be held on Friday and Saturday this coming weekend.
