Kevin Stein, the Poet Laureate of Illinois, addressed our seventh and eighth grade students on February 15th.
These students impressed Mr. Stein with their questions.

Julie. Mrs. Saal has organized all of our author visits and pre-writing
and post-writing sessions in the classrooms. Her enthusiasm for promoting
writing has truly benefited our students. We look forward to seeing their
finished products at CultureFest on April 30th.
